Hazard is generally defined as chemical and physical conditions that have the potential to cause harm to humans, property, or the environment. In industrial facilities, there are different sources where hazards can arise. Chemicals present in the facilities, operational errors, equipment-related errors, human errors, and external factors can all contribute to the formation of hazardous environments.<\/p>\n<p>The occurrence of hazardous environments leads to the emergence of risks. Risk can be defined as the measure of economic, human, or environmental factors resulting from the occurrence of a hazardous event.
